Construction Project Manager Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews with project teams, including superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, and other site personnel.
  • Monitor project costs and financial performance against budget.
  • Manage change orders, invoices, and payment applications.
  • Ensure all work adheres to project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and services.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and vendors.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including permits, drawings, and correspondence.
Construction Project Manager Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects of varying scales and complexities.
  • Strong understanding of construction principles, practices, and technologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6, Procore, etc.).
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Solid financial acumen and experience with budget management.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
