Delta has been retained by a confidential general construction client to conduct a search for an experienced and results-oriented Construction Project Manager. Construction Project Manager Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews with project teams, including superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, and other site personnel.
- Monitor project costs and financial performance against budget.
- Manage change orders, invoices, and payment applications.
- Ensure all work adheres to project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and other key stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and services.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and vendors.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including permits, drawings, and correspondence.
Construction Project Manager Qualifications:
- 8+ years of progressive experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects of varying scales and complexities.
- Strong understanding of construction principles, practices, and technologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6, Procore, etc.).
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Solid financial acumen and experience with budget management.
- In-depth knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
