Delta has been retained by a confidential general construction client to conduct a search for the position of SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER in Fort Myers, FL.
Senior Project Manager Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary for the Senior Project Manager is from $130,000 – $150,000, with total compensation including profit sharing, bonus, benefits, retirement, and allowances far exceeding the stated annual salary.

Senior Project Manager Qualifications:
- 8+ years of progressively responsible project management experience with commercial construction projects over $10M.
- Proven track record leading both new construction and renovations in education, institutional, aviation, or related sectors.
- Experience with GMP, hard bid, and design-build delivery methods.
- Familiarity with AIA contracts, permitting processes, and construction documentation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Working knowledge of Procore, MS Project, and other modern construction software platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field preferred, but not required.
Senior Project Manager Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead total project supervision, ensuring proper staffing, budget adherence, and schedule milestones.
- Facilitate all pre-award subcontractor meetings to ensure scope clarity and expectations before mobilization.
- Interpret and manage owner agreements (AIA or public entities), and understand subcontractor T&Cs.
- Promote and support a strong on-site safety culture in coordination with the Superintendent.
- Mentor and assist in the development of Project Managers, Assistant PMs, and Project Engineers.
- Participate in preconstruction activities, including budget estimates, scope reviews, narrative development, and schedule planning.
- Evaluate design alternatives and assist with constructability solutions in collaboration with designers and clients.
- Manage all construction administration, including contracts, change orders, permitting, insurance, and pay applications.
- Co-develop and monitor project schedules and 3-week lookaheads with field leadership.
- Oversee procurement, submittal tracking, and RFI management.
- Maintain ongoing budget tracking, change integration, and client satisfaction.
- Lead the project close-out process including documentation, final payments, and financial reconciliation.
