From Backyard Chipping to Professional Dreams
Greyson’s journey with golf started in a backyard, club in hand, thanks to his dad and the unique experience of growing up on a golf course. “He gave me a club when I was young, and living on a golf course made me fall in love with the game by chipping balls in our backyard,” he shared. That early spark turned into a lifelong passion for competition, not just against others, but against himself.
Having grown up playing multiple sports, Greyson found in golf a discipline that continuously challenged him to evolve. His proudest moment so far? Winning the Orlando International Amateur during college with a dominant 19-under-par performance, surrounded by the support of family and friends.
Driven by Discipline, Grounded in Growths
Greyson’s typical day reflects the level of commitment needed to play at the highest level: morning gym sessions, hours on the course, structured practice blocks, and recovery routines like sauna and ice baths. His approach to challenges is centered on self-awareness and resilience.
“I try and keep the mindset of ‘how can I be better?’ no matter if things are going well or not,” he says. “It all starts with figuring out what your process is and sticking to that through the ups and downs.”
Goals as Bold as His Game
Greyson is laser-focused on the path ahead, with ambitious but attainable goals:
- Win on PGA Tour Americas this summer
- Earn Korn Ferry Tour status
- Finish Top 20 on the Korn Ferry Tour in 2025
- Compete in a PGA Tour event
His perspective is clear: “A good player knows how to play well when they feel good. The great ones know how to adjust and optimize themselves in any situation.”
